At RWTP, we are deeply committed to Omanisation, with 81% of our workforce consisting of Omani nationals. As part of our unwavering dedication to the “In Country Value” contractual requirement, we proudly sponsor three full-time research students from Omani universities, empowering them to lead innovative research projects at the Ph.D., Master’s degree, and Bachelor’s levels. This initiative not only fosters academic growth but also reinforces our commitment to supporting Oman’s development and nurturing local talent.
Rima Water Treatment Plant is at the forefront of environmental responsibility, employing eco-friendly technologies to transform production water into a verdant oasis amidst the desert landscape. By preventing the disposal of over 40,000 cubic meters of produced water daily, we not only ensure a sustainable water management system but also make substantial strides in reducing greenhouse gas emissions linked to the energy-intensive deep-water disposal process. Our commitment extends to the establishment of a sprawling 5 square kilometer wetland, providing a new habitat for diverse wildlife species, revitalizing the desert ecosystem, and underscoring our dedication to environmental preservation.
